Durable and Long-Lasting: The light strings are made from UV-resistant material and have an IP67 rating to protect against water and dust. The adapter and controller, for safety, durability and aesthetic reasons, are designed to be extended for indoor installation and are therefore not waterproof. Please ensure controller and adapter are shielded from water if you plan to place them outdoor. The lights can operate in temperatures from -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to -60°C) for up to 55,000 hours.
